Garnering 11,059 hits to its website, 71 formal inquires, and six registered bidders as a result of Platinum’s auction-marketing program, the property sold for the highest price within its subdivision in 2015, and also created the third highest price there in the past 3 years. Although the final price has not yet been released, Platinum reported that the figure nearly doubled the Auction’s $1.25 million reserve price.
The buyer, who purchased the home with his wife, is the co-founder of a prominent yacht building company.
