Details &
Description

Just 90 minutes’ drive from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and two hours from Austin, the ranch offers an ideal combination of convenience and privacy. Sited on over 20 acres the exceptional multi-structure property boasts more than 10,000 square feet of living and entertaining space and 2,000 feet of water frontage.

Two custom-built homes, affectionately known as the Creek and River houses, comfortably accommodate more than 15 guests and are perfectly positioned to offer picturesque views. A saloon-themed conference center, perfect for corporate retreats and events, features antique repurposed wood throughout, a full-sized bar, a dance floor, a professional stage, and a well-appointed commercial kitchen. For nature enthusiasts, nearby Lake Whitney attractions including fishing, camping, hiking, and biking are sure to delight.

WHITNEY, TX. Welcome to the Getaway Capital of Texas: Whitney, Texas! Established in 1876, the town of Whitney was born with the arrival of the Houston and Texas Central Railroad. With a population of about 2,000 people, the quaint town still cherishes its old-fashioned ice cream parlor, hiking the best trails in Texas, and all the activities available at Lake Whitney State Park.

On Lake Whitney, families can enjoy the outdoors by camping, boating, and star gazing. Make sure to grab your camera to capture all kinds of wildlife there such as deer, wild turkeys, and bald eagles. Pick up a fishing rod and fish for largemouth, white bass, and even the prized blue catfish! With plenty of campsites, skiing, and hiking, Lake Whitney has enough entertainment for the whole family.

If climbing and hiking call your attention, Whitney has some of the best trails in Texas. For example, Cotton Belt Trail lies on the abandoned St. Louis Southwestern Railway corridor where the winding route under Old Lorena Road leads to the stunning bridge over the Bosque River. Fish Creek Trail leads to Cravens Park, which offers more walking trails and baseball fields. Moments-in-Time Hike & Bike Trail goes through Granbury City Beach Park and sits on the edge of the Brazos River. All within a drive’s notice, there is plenty to do in Whitney, Texas for all walks of life.

CENTRAL, TX. About an hour drive north from Whitney is Central Texas. Here, residents can appreciate the “Modern West” with cities like Fort Worth & Dallas. Whether you want to take a deep dive into true Western Heritage in the Stockyards National Historic District or expand your palate from Tex-Mex and BBQ to world-class cuisine, there is plenty to do for everybody.

Everyone can relish in the Wild Wild West and the modernity of the thriving downtown cities, a duality not many can enjoy. You can cheer on the Dallas Cowboys at the AT&T Stadium, visit the nationally top-ranked Fort Worth Zoo, or take a river cruise down the Brazos River. There is always something to do in Central Texas that involves plenty of excitement.

In Central Texas, it’s partly cloudy year-round and the weather rarely goes below 26°F or above 102°F. There is also a thriving and bustling economy due to multiple corporate giants’ headquarters in cities like Austin and Dallas. The downtowns are filled with employees from companies such as AT&T and Southwest Airlines. Being in such an economic and cultural hub, Central Texas is a prime location to raise a family, explore nature’s bounty, and create many memories for years to come.
