An upgraded and renovated family compound in the “Great Camp” tradition, the camp boasts an incredible view among towering pines with more than 500 ft of shoreline perfect for swimming or launching kayaks and canoes. Comprising 11 structures including a dining hall, 2-story boathouse, two-bedroom main cabin and 5 additional sleeping cabins, the camp offers an ideal getaway from the pressures of daily life. Despite its seclusion, access to Camp Iroquois is convenient – the Adirondacks Regional Airport is just 10 minutes from camp and is capable of landing a myriad of planes up to a Boeing 747.

A gated entrance leads to the lovely Property, which is replete with design details that carry through each structure from charming green trim to cathedral ceilings, polished wood floors, and period diamond windows. Further amenities include a newly resurfaced Har-Tru tennis and basketball court, newly upgraded 3-car and 1-car garages, wildflower garden, and camp workshop. Thanks to the addition of electric heat and the camp’s four fireplaces, the comfort and fun of the summer season can be extended through November.

In addition to the lovely structures and inspiring views, Camp Iroquois offers the space to enjoy many activities, from archery to bocce to croquet. Wild blueberry patches, water sports and proximity to the best ice cream in the Adirondacks make the camp an ideal place to create years of family memories; indeed, the next owner of Camp Iroquois will be only the third to preside over this well-loved land in the past 100 years.

Camp Iroquois is selling completely furnished, complete with two upright pianos (one a Chickering circa 1900), kayaks, canoes and an Adirondacks guide boat dating to the 1890s. Antique aficionados will appreciate the inclusion of several J. & L.G. Stickley pieces: the dining set (table, chairs and buffet), and two chairs in the great room are vintage Stickley circa 1910; the sofa, armchairs and rugs in the same room are present-day offerings from the arts-and-crafts pioneers.
