Following its successful luxury auction® sale in January of the Woodmereestate in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, luxury real estate auction house Platinum Luxury Auctions will now offer another multimillion-dollar property in the exclusive Westmoreland County borough at auction. On May 11, 2019, Hidden Meadow Farm, a 133-acre estate that was previously asking $6.5 million, will be sold at a live auction held on the property site. The property will be sold without reserve and regardless of the amount of the highest bid price. Platinum is managing the sale in cooperation with listing agent Annette D. Ganassi of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services in Ligonier.
“Following our success in Ligonier with the sale of the Woodmere estate earlier this year, we’re pleased to be offering another one of the area’s most exceptional properties,” stated Trayor Lesnock, Platinum’s president and founder.
Platinum sold the 200-acre Woodmere property for $3.75 million as part of a 4-property sale the firm conducted for a wealthy couple based in Beverly Hills, CA. That sale closed in February. Lesnock noted that quite a few prospective buyers who inquired for that auction have also expressed interest in Hidden Meadow Farm.
“Our team has been very pleased with the response we’ve seen from buyers – both in quantity and quality – for each of the Ligonier offerings. It demonstrates there is still strong interest in premier Ligonier properties, but buyers simply need the proper motivation to act. That motivation is provided by the luxury auction process.”
